Pet Loss Support Resource Center

Our services include support groups, individual support, and our Journey Course.

Featured Specialty Groups

We will continue offering smaller groups to provide our families a more intimate and personalized experience. Members of these groups will have the opportunity to share and receive guidance from our grief coaches.

Anticipatory Grief Group (1 hour / Free)

This group is for pet parents who are experiencing grief and distress before the loss of their loved one. *This group focuses on grief, rather than assessing quality of life in your animal companions.

Behavioral Euthanasia Support Group (1 hour / Free)

For pet parents who have been faced with saying goodbye to their beloved companion due to severe behavioral concerns. This group will be held on the 2nd Friday and 4th Wednesday of each month.

Unexpected or Traumatic Loss Support Group (1 hour / Free)

For pet parents who are experiencing grief unexpectedly, after a traumatic event, accident or at an unforeseen age.

A Year and Beyond Grief Support Group (1 hour / $10)

The time period after the first year is usually not quite as pain-filled as all the “firsts” were and although the grief may feel a little softer and more manageable, often we are not nearly as healed as we would like. This support group offers a smaller, intimate setting for pet parents who are past the one year anniversary of their loved ones death and are seeking a safe space to connect with others who have been on their grief journey for over a year.

"One of the best decisions I made was to attend online pet loss support groups offered by the veterinary network, Lap of Love, which offered free sessions (which happen every day) as well as a 6-week pet loss “journey” course for good measure."
